- Kingsmead Field is a significant open space in the city centre. It is located next to Riverside Children’s Centre, opposite Kingsmead Leisure Centre. The field is mostly mown grass, apart from wild flower meadow areas. It includes a large green area for dog walking and playing football, a wild flower meadow and the River Stour.
