Mariners View was originally farmland overlooking Seasalter Levels and the Swale Estuary. Now the site of new housing, it is one of Whitstable’s newest open spaces. The site is located next to the 12th century church dedicated to St Alphege, and is accessed from Royal Native Way. It is managed jointly by the council and Mariners View Residents Association.
