Parks and play areas - Reculver Country Park

Record details

Reculver Country Park is a unique place, combining undeveloped coast, historic buildings and wildlife interest. The Reculver Towers and Roman Fort are a Scheduled Monument and special historic landscape feature. The refurbished Reculver Centre reopened in 2009. The country park is also internationally important for wildlife because it is used each winter by thousands of migratory birds.
There are walks along the cliffs to Bishopstone. There are also various cycle routes including the new national cycle route link Oyster Bay Trail to Herne Bay to the west and Minnis Bay to the east.
