This area is a children’s play area and riverside picnic site, and part of the Westgate Parks series of open spaces. Some new, gym-style equipment was added in 2011. Toddlers Cove has also become a starting point for the Great Stour Way, a path shared by pedestrians and cyclists which follows the River Stour to Chartham.
As well as the play area, there are grassy areas and hard paths, as well as public toilets and a small car park.
